About Reading Room

Reading Room represents the consolidation of two well established full service digital agencies, Reading Room and Rippleffect. Idox plc acquired each of these businesses in 2015 and 2016 respectively to grow its own Digital Division. Through it’s offices in London and Liverpool the agency provides a full range digital services to both private and public sector clients.

About Fat Media

Fat Media is a multi award-winning website design and digital marketing company recognised as the ‘go to’ company for high-end website design, development and tactical digital marketing campaigns. Fat Media’s award-winning web design and digital marketing experts have helped hundreds of local, national and international clients achieve new levels of success through superb new site launches, innovative digital marketing campaigns and intelligent, measurable search engine optimisation strategies.

About the deal

Fat Media acquired the entire business and trade of the Reading Room digital division from Idox. Reading Room will be a stand-alone brand and business unit within the Fat Media Group, with the ability to call upon resources and develop a deeper, broader skill set and service offering.

Our work

We acted as exclusive financial adviser to Idox plc on their sale of Reading Room.
