Signal Media is an Artificial Intelligence media monitoring company that transforms the world’s information into accessible, actionable business knowledge. Signal is a media monitoring platform, helping clients including Old Mutual Wealth and Freshfields to monitor markets and acquire actionable business insights from the world’s media. The information is sourced from over 2.7m websites, 67,000 print feeds and 300 broadcast channels, and can be auto-translated from over 40 languages.About MMC Ventures

To fund a U.S. sales push in 2017 and further develop its product, Signal Media raised £5.8 million in new funding. Investors in the round include MMC Ventures, Hearst Ventures, Frontline Ventures, Reed Elsevier Ventures and Local Globe. The additional cash is to be used to add to the startup’s current 50-person headcount.
