Avid Media is a leader in content marketing and native distribution. The company provides a content discovery platform with a native delivery mechanic and is dedicated to exploring the way content is consumed and how it influences the mindset of the user engaging with it in order to create valuable insights for marketers.

About Dentsu International

Dentsu is the largest agency brand and third largest media-buying agency group in the world. Part of Dentsu Inc., Dentsu Aegis Network is made up of ten global network brands headquartered in London and operates in 145 countries worldwide with more than 38,000 dedicated specialists.

About the deal

Dentsu Aegis Network invested in Avid Media in a move intended to offer the group’s clients greater insight and distribution opportunities. The partnership is set to accelerate the group’s content marketing capabilities while strengthening its data-led performance buying and programmatic offering. It also supports Dentsu Aegis Network’s goal of becoming a 100 per cent digital economy business by 2020.

Our work

We worked with the management and shareholders of Avid Media through a sale side marketing process to find the best partner to take the business forward. After exploring a number of routes forward and various opportunities, Dentsu was selected and the transaction driven to a successful conclusion by WY Partners. We continue to work with the company through their ongoing relationship with Dentsu.
